    The automatic tool changer includes:

    • a tool magazine
    • ISO30 tool holder cones
    • ER32 collets
    • a 9 KW spindle with automatic tool change
    • controller card capable of managing automatic tool change

    Operation:

    When a tool change is necessary, the spindle automatically positions itself above the tool magazine to deposit the current tool holder and pick up a new one. The tool holder consists of an ISO30 cone at its upper part and a chuck (ER collet) that clamps the router bit at its shank. The cone is held to the spindle by a valve controlled by a pneumatic system. Once the tool holder is fixed, an automatic measurement of the new tool’s length is optional: the spindle positions itself above the automatic probe to descend in Z until it touches it with the tip of the router bit. Machining can then begin.

    Automatic tool change requires a pneumatic supply to allow the cones to be held on the spindle. A compressor is necessary and requires the following minimum capacities (power: 5.5 kW (7.5 HP); volume: 1000 L; pressure: 0.8 MPa (8 bar); flow rate: 0.7 m³/min).

    The vacuum table allows workpieces to be held by suction without the need for clamping devices.

    The vacuum table includes:

    • a honeycomb table
    • 4 to 12 independent vacuum zones manageable by valves
    • aluminum T-slots for workpiece clamping if necessary
    • vacuum hoses under the table
    • valve taps on the side of the frame to control table zones
    • a manometer to measure the pressure of each pump

    The vacuum pump includes:

    • a vacuum pump
    • a suction system
    • an air filter
    • a silencer
    • a safety valve
    • a soft starter
    • a thermal safety relay
    • a manual and automatic control system

    The pump creates a vacuum at the vacuum table. We offer vacuum systems between 5 kW and 15 kW of power for standard routers. The vacuum pump is powered by three-phase for models over 5 kW or single-phase for models under 5 kW.

    The chip extraction system includes:

    • a vacuum cleaner
    • a collector
    • a hose
    • a hose support
    • a manual and automatic electronic start system
    • a suction nozzle with brush at the spindle (with automatic lift on machines equipped with automatic tool change)

    It allows for the extraction and collection of chips and dust emitted during machining. An advanced version of the chip extractor uses a cyclonic system coupled with a filter to recover fine particles down to 3 µm.

    To guarantee the reliability of our systems, LUQUE Machines equips its CNC routers with DSP controllers or fully integrated control panels. These controllers integrate the program reader and trajectory calculators internally within the machine. In addition to improving reliability and precision, these interfaces are simpler to use.

    The micro-lubrication system sprays micro-droplets onto the workpieces and tool to lubricate, cool, and capture dust during machining. You can spray water, cutting oil, or just air.

    The micro-lubrication system includes:

    The 6th rotary axis includes a chuck, a tailstock and a suitable control board capable of managing a 6th axis. It enables milling the part while it rotates.

    The 6 simultaneous axes include two rotary axes on the spindle along the B and C axes, presented as two serial revolute joints between the gantry and the spindle, plus a rotary axis on the table along A or B. They allow the spindle to be oriented at an angle in two dimensions and to machine along planes whose normal is perpendicular to the 6th rotary axis, while the latter is itself perpendicular to the 5th rotary axis.

    The tangential and oscillating blade includes a spindle fixed to the gantry capable of moving cutting blades. It allows for cutting flexible materials.

    The circular saw includes a cutting disc, a motorized orientable system, and a control card capable of managing a circular saw. It allows for cutting workpieces.

    The plasma cutter includes a plasma head, a control card capable of managing a plasma cutter, a height controller, a sawtooth table, and plasma cutting software. It must be powered by a plasma generator.

    The loading table allows for automatic loading of panels onto the router table in an automated manner. This system provides complete autonomy for the machine on a production line.

    It is also possible to add an unloading table for machined parts or a robotic arm to perform this operation.

    Laser safety barriers are a safety feature. This system stops the machine if a person or object enters a defined area around the router.

    The full machine enclosure isolates the router to protect the environment from chip projections, dust, fumes, noise, accidents…

    An emergency stop system can be added in case of door opening.
